Jabil is seeking a Purchasing professional in Chihuahua to lead cost optimization and supplier development within the workcell. You will drive strategic sourcing, negotiate terms and build robust supplier relationships to meet business unit goals.

You will supervise purchasing staff, develop training, and contribute to SCM initiatives while aligning with global procurement standards. This role emphasizes cost control and value creation for key commodities.

Formación

• Experience in procurement and cost optimization.
• Ability to negotiate terms and lead supplier discussions.
• Experience supervising staff and coordinating workcells.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze component purchase prices for standard costing.
• Assist hiring manager with recruiting activities.
• Provide training and resources to purchasing staff.
• Optimize overall cost of materials.
• Support and input to SCM initiatives and strategies.
• Develop supplier AML lists with internal teams and customers.
• Provide input to quoted costs to customers to balance price and MPV.
• Monitor supplier performance on cost, delivery and quality.
• Understand supplier capabilities and market trends for commodities.
• Conduct supplier audits and performance reviews to improve supply base.
• Develop supply chain strategies tailored to customers and business units.
• Collaborate with quote analysts to negotiate cost reductions.
• Negotiate terms and conditions protecting Jabil and customers.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
