Job summary

Qualifications

• Negotiation and procurement planning experience across multiple commodities.
• Knowledge of core manufacturing processes and supplier development.
• Experience with PPAP and quality plans is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive strategic procurement decisions in coordination with Product Management, Engineering, and Quality.
• Collaborate and negotiate with suppliers to achieve material cost, delivery terms, payment terms, and service requirements.
• Lead Buy vs. Make decisions with NPD, Industrialization and Manufacturing teams; assess suppliers on capacity, cost, logistics, and quality.
• Collaborate in DFMEA/PFMEA docs, part qualification plans, PPAP and quality plans.
• Locate and develop suppliers to meet Global operations requirements and localize supply.
• Create and document a supplier risk register with mitigation plans.
• Identify material specs or components to improve cost or reduce supplier risk.
• Develop project timelines, work packages, schedules and expense estimates for each phase.
• Build and deploy a project communications plan to stakeholders.
• Create POs, monitor supplier OTD, and ensure PPAP documentation submission.
