Elsevier in Mexico City is seeking a detail-focused Contract Manager, Sales, to support contracting activities by preparing, reviewing and negotiating sales contracts, amendments and related documents. You will work closely with Sales, Legal, Account Support and Finance to enable compliant commercial outcomes and a strong customer experience.

This role requires a legal background, fluent English and Spanish, and the ability to identify risks, propose practical solutions and manage contracts

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in law or equivalent with 3-5 years of Contract Management or related experience.
• Fluent in English and Spanish; Portuguese a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to review agreements against templates and policies.
• Sound legal and commercial judgment with ability to assess issues and propose solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for Sales and stakeholders.
• Ability to own, prioritize and organize in a fast-paced sales environment.
• Experience with contract lifecycle management tools such as Conga, Luminance or similar.

Responsabilidades

• Reviewing, drafting and negotiating sales contracts and related documents.
• Identifying non-standard terms and risks early.
• Applying sound judgment to routine and moderately complex contracting issues.
• Managing contract matters from intake through execution.
• Collaborating with Sales, Legal, Account Support and Finance to finalize contract requirements.
• Communicating clearly with internal and external stakeholders.
• Preparing clean contract documents reflecting agreed services and terms.
• Using contract management systems and productivity tools to enhance efficiency.
• Identifying recurring issues and opportunities to improve templates and processes.
