AL7938 GE Grid Solutions, S.A. de C.V. is seeking a results-oriented Proposal Engineer with a strong background in electrical infrastructure sales and engineering.

You will manage end-to-end proposals for substations, collaborating across product lines and external partners. You will lead technical discussions, assess risks, and drive pricing strategies to deliver complete solutions that meet customer requirements and business goals.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Civil engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum 5 years tendering experience for T&D, EBOP, or electrical substation turnkey projects.
• Strong technical and commercial background in T&D, EBoP power generation and industrial markets.
• Ability to work in a matrix, cross-functional environment.
• Excellent communication at all business levels.
• Portuguese is a plus.
• English and Spanish mandatory.

Responsabilidades

• Manage proposal development, risk management and mitigation, cost estimation, and pricing as part of the EAS.
• Lead deal reviews to ensure technical risk, pricing strategy and complete solution are aligned.
• Support the Bid Manager in the pre-sales process.
• Collaborate with Region Sales and Account Managers to develop commercial strategies meeting customer requirements.
• Define target costs and negotiate with internal product lines and external suppliers.
• Review risk elements in technical offers and provide mitigations with other areas.
• Align strategic support to Product Line and negotiate with partners for civil works and erection scope.
• Lead technical discussions with customers during tender negotiations.
