GE Vernova is seeking a results-oriented Proposal Engineer with a strong background in electrical infrastructure sales and engineering. You will drive end-to-end management of complex technical and economic proposals for electrical substations, coordinating across Product Lines and external suppliers.

In this role you will lead proposal development, manage risk, and optimize costs while ensuring compliance and alignment with regional strategies.

Formación

• Bachelor in Electrical or Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
• At least 5 years tendering experience for T&D/EBOP/Substation turnkey projects.
• Strong technical and commercial background in T&D/EBoP Power Generation.
• Ability to work in a matrix and cross-functional environment.
• Fluent in English and Spanish; Portuguese a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Manage all aspects of proposal development, risk management, and costing.
• Lead deal review to incorporate technical risk, pricing, and scope.
• Support Bid Manager in the pre-sales process.
• Collaborate with Region Sales to align commercial strategies with customer needs.
• Negotiate target costs with internal PLs and external suppliers.
• Review risks in technical offers and coordinate mitigation.
• Lead technical discussions with customers during tender.
