Sulzer is seeking a Sr. Production Planning Specialist to develop and optimize detailed production schedules, coordinating with manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, and logistics to ensure timely delivery and material availability.

The role requires 5–7 years of relevant experience, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with ERP/MRP systems. You will work with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and coach junior planners.

Formación

• University degree (or equivalent work experience) and 5–7 years of relevant experience are minimally required.
• Strong knowledge of production planning, scheduling, and manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and planning tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to manage complex data and work independently.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain detailed production schedules aligned with demand forecasts.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure material availability.
• Analyze constraints, capacity, and performance metrics to optimize production flow.
• Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts and bottlenecks.
• Prepare planning reports, dashboards, and performance analyses.
• Support implementation of new planning tools, systems, and process improvements.
• Coach junior planners and contribute to best-practice development.
