Sulzer is seeking a Sr. Production Planning Specialist to develop and optimize detailed production schedules, coordinating with manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, and logistics to ensure timely delivery and material availability.

The role requires 5–7 years of relevant experience, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with ERP/MRP systems. You will work with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and coach junior planners.

Formación

• University degree (or equivalent work experience) and 5–7 years of relevant experience are minimally required.
• Strong knowledge of production planning, scheduling, and manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and planning tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to manage complex data and work independently.

Responsabilidades

About the role

The Sr. Production Planning Specialist is responsible for developing, managing, and optimizing production schedules to ensure efficient use of resources and timely delivery of products. The role works independently on complex planning tasks, coordinates with cross-functional teams, and contributes to process improvements that enhance production performance. This job profile is intended for specialist professionals that apply advanced knowledge of a job area. Required to manage projects / processes independently with limited supervision. Typically coaches and reviews the work of lower-level professionals. This job and its associated grade are specifically aligned with roles that have the following scope of responsibility: Large, Division / Extra Large organization.
