  • Partner closely with Operations and Planning teams to evaluate capacity constraints, balance workloads, and align production plans with business and customer requirements.
  • Analyze supply and demand gaps, identify risks to service or production continuity, and drive mitigation and recovery plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with regional and global teams, Purchasing, Operations, Engineering, and other stakeholders to resolve shortages, backorders, engineering changes, and unexpected production disruptions.
  • Utilize SAP planning tools and transactions to manage production orders, support planning execution, and maintain planning accuracy.
  • Review and maintain planning-related master data and system parameters to improve MRP output and overall planning effectiveness.
  • Generate and analyze reports related to production adherence, capacity, utilization, inventory performance, and service levels to identify trends and improvement opportunities.

  • Act as a key point of escalation for critical planning and supply issues, ensuring timely communication, alignment, and resolution.
  • Partner with other Corning sites and global teams to successfully meet customer requirements and ensure network alignment.
