Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in purchasing, procurement, or a supply chain role.
• Proficient in English both written and spoken.
• Experience controlling inventory levels, minimizing excess and obsolete material, and optimizing working capital.
• Strong supplier relationship management and cost-reduction focus.
• Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems and Kanban/SMI/VMI.
• Experience sourcing custom-manufactured components and managing scheduled deliveries.
• Experience in electronics manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Purchase materials to support production with competitive pricing.
• Manage POs, supplier relationships, and ERP data.
• Lead cost reduction initiatives and supplier performance metrics.
• Expedite deliveries and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Maintain MRP data for open POs including lead times and pricing.
• Coordinate with QA on MRBs and corrective actions with suppliers.
• Collaborate with Accounting on accounts payable issues.
