Job summary

Lear Corporation in Reynosa, Mexico is seeking a Materials Planner who will ensure timely supply of productive materials to the plant through the material control system and by monitoring daily requirements and shipments to avoid supplier delays.

You will sustain a steady end-to-end supply, keep inventory levels aligned with financial targets, maintain ABC-based planning data, coordinate logistics to optimize inbound freight, and order raw materials from sister plants and external suppliers

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in the materials area in manufacturing companies
• Knowledge of logistics, material tracking, traffic, purchase orders, SAP, and releases

Responsibilities

• Sustain a steady flow of supply end to end
• Keep inventory level in accordance with financial value and turns within Plant’s objectives
• Maintain planning parameters into master data based on ABC with full knowledge and understanding its importance to ensure materials availability for production
• Coordinate all logistics functions to optimize inbound freight expense
• Keep inventory value
• Order raw material from sister plants and external suppliers
• Prepare coverage reports
