AMETEK, Inc. is seeking a Materials Manager in Reynosa, Mexico to lead and coordinate materials management across planning, purchasing, inventory control, warehousing, MRO, and shipping.

The role ensures smooth material flow to meet customer demand and optimize inventory investment. You will work with cross-functional teams, develop procurement strategies for raw materials and machined components, manage reports, and mentor staff while applying problem-solving tools and AI insights to improve

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Materials Management, Supply Chain, or Operations within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment with high mix/low volume components preferred.
• Experience managing purchasing, planning, shipping and warehouse departments.
• Advanced proficiency with MS Office and experience using problem-solving tools and AI for productivity improvements.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and oversee timely flow of materials through the production cycle to minimize past due orders and ensure on-time delivery.
• Manage policies, procedures, and material control systems.
• Provide technical expertise to cross-functional project teams.
• Mentor and develop personnel to meet objectives.
• Negotiate and administer supplier contracts.
• Develop procurement strategies for raw materials and machined components.
• Analyze supplier performance and inventory reports to ensure material availability.
• Drive continual improvement in Material and Production Control areas.
• Interface with machine shop, production, QA and engineering to smooth material flow.
