Job summary

HP is seeking a Technology Services Category Manager to optimize outsourced IT services spend and supplier relationships within Mexico. You will lead cross-functional sourcing strategies, perform in-depth cost and market analyses, and partner with executives to align procurement with business priorities.

The role emphasizes risk management, supplier development, and innovative problem-solving across complex categories.

Qualifications

Requires a four-year or graduate degree in supply chain management, manufacturing engineering, business administration, or related discipline.
Typically 7–10 years of work experience in procurement, supply chain, or related field.

Responsibilities

Lead a complex supply chain sub-category and develop and execute sourcing strategies.
Perform complex data and industry analysis and report results to senior management.
Translate business priorities into supply chain strategies by liaising with senior stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze processes and utilize supply chain, business, and financial modeling tools.
Drive supply base optimization by leading supplier selection activities and negotiating contracting outcomes.
Oversee day-to-day operations of large, moderately complex suppliers and assist in strategic development.
Ensure procurement policies are followed and compliance metrics are met or exceeded.
Assess evolving business models and translate insights into actionable procurement plans.
