Job summary

Flex in Guadalajara North is seeking a Director Finance to lead a team of finance professionals, ensure accurate data compilation and reporting, and develop systems and policies to meet corporate and regulatory requirements.

Reporting to Sr Director Finance, you will drive quarterly financial reporting, establish objectives, support external auditors, and mentor staff while staying ahead of industry practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field or equivalent experience and training.
• MBA is preferred.
• CPA/CFP/CMA/CA or APICS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage preparation of quarterly financial reporting package for leadership review.
• Establish operational objectives and assignments.
• Develop and establish financial reporting requirements.
• Support external auditors in their examination of quarterly and year-end financial statements.
• Ensure monthly informative account analysis and reconciliations are performed.
• Coach and mentor financial professionals in organization.
• Be abreast of industry trends and apply to business model as appropriate.
• Analyze market practice to benchmark current systems and controls to verify systems and process integrity in order to enhance the Company's value.
• Implement appropriate HR Strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field

MBA preferred

CPA/CFP/CMA/CA/APICS certification preferred
