Flex is seeking a Buyer Direct to join our Juarez Sur team. The role supports procurement for electronic industry products, engaging with suppliers to secure delivery at the best price and terms. You will review requisitions, manage MRP output, and monitor inventory levels to keep production flowing.

Expected to possess advanced English, a bachelor’s degree, and experience in purchasing. This on-site position offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities within a global manufacturing

Formación

• Advanced English communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Experience in purchasing is preferred.
• Interfaces with suppliers and customers to secure delivery and market price.
• Strong procurement decision-making and contract negotiations.

Responsabilidades

• Reviews requisitions and MRP output.
• Confers with vendors to obtain price, availability and delivery schedule.
• Determines method of procurement and direct purchases.
• Orders, reschedules and cancels based on requisitions and MRP output.
• Maintains procurement records and costs; tracks delivery and inventories.
• Manages supplier pricing, delivery and quality expectations; escalates as needed.
• Approves invoices for payment and expedites deliveries.
• Analyzes inventory levels and prepares liability/obsolescence reports.
• May gather quotes, examine bids, negotiate contracts and award work.
• May plan and monitor movement of materials through production cycle.
