Job summary

AMETEK Inc. seeks a Planner Buyer to plan, schedule, and purchase materials for Hardy Process Solutions, ensuring material availability and on‑time delivery while balancing inventory. The role requires 3+ years in planning or supply chain, strong analytical skills, ERP/MRP experience (IFS preferred), and bilingual Spanish/English.

You will collaborate across functions to optimize inventory turns and report on supplier performance, with market-driven compensation in USD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree preferred and 3+ years of planning, purchasing, or supply chain experience.
• Strong analytical skills with ERP/MRP experience; bilingual in Spanish and English.
• Proactive use of AI tools to improve productivity and decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Produce and maintain production schedules, analyze MRP recommendations and priorities.
• Issue purchase orders, manage suppliers, expedite materials and negotiate lead times.
• Monitor inventory, support cycle counts and improve turns.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Warehouse and Customer Service.
• Maintain ERP data and prepare inventory, supplier, and backlog reports.
