Job summary

Nemak is seeking a procurement professional to manage tenders and contract awards for plant services. You will ensure supplier compliance with Purchasing policies and support cross-functional teams across the automotive production environment.

Responsibilities include handling tenders, supporting maintenance startup activities, documenting PLC programming, training staff, and assisting with aluminum casting equipment and molding lines to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, International Business, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• SAP knowledge and hands-on experience.
• At least 1 year of purchasing experience in automotive production, including technical or commodity purchasing, project management, or purchasing management.
• Experience in manufacturing processes preferred.
• Knowledge of purchasing tools and negotiation methods, with ability to negotiate independently.
• Ability to work cross-functionally within an international matrix organization and deliver results.
• Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining and managing tenders and awarding contracts based on user-submitted scopes.
• Support maintenance activities during equipment startup and after installations or process modifications.
• Document and report PLC programming for equipment in the area.
• Train personnel to improve their technical skills.
• Provide support for aluminum casting equipment or molding lines.
