Aptiv is seeking a Buyer for Stamping and Casting to drive supplier selection, negotiation, and cost optimization within our global supply chain. The role focuses on material performance, BOM management, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet program targets.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of buying experience in automotive stamping/casting, strong English, and proven negotiation skills. This on-site role offers growth within a global tech-driven company.

Formación

Bachelor's degree required with 4+ years of Buyer experience in stamping and casting (or similar).
Advanced English proficiency is required for global supplier interactions.
Strong negotiation and communication skills are essential for supplier management.
Experience in the automotive industry is mandatory.

Responsabilidades

Negotiate material performance to meet annual targets and financials.
Conduct quarterly business reviews with key suppliers to review performance and alignment.
Monitor BOM changes and price changes; propose price adjustments as needed.
Create and maintain scheduling agreements with suppliers per SCM policies.
Ensure negotiated conditions are implemented in operations.
Develop new supply base with Global Category Manager for new programs.
Monitor supplier quality and propose improvements; report results to leadership.
