Emerson in Mexico is seeking a finance professional to manage VAT refunds, data collection for audits, and travel expense controls. You will oversee treasury, accounts payable, and payroll while ensuring compliance with internal policies.

You bring a public accounting degree, 5 years in a similar role, fluent English (B2), and willingness to travel to the USA with a visa. This role emphasizes governance, process design, and collaboration with global staff.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare monthly VAT refunds and address authority requests or audits.
• Collect data from REPSE suppliers for audits and monitor compliance.
• Review travel expenses, prepayments, and AMEX reports to reimburse correctly.
• Design and implement policies, procedures, and financial controls.
• Oversee monthly financial information prep in Oracle per Emerson calendar.
• Supervise treasury, accounts payable, and payroll with shared services.
• Develop and maintain the company’s financial information system.
• Prepare information requested by external auditors.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Prepare the monthly refunds of value added tax, as well as the follow up of the different requirements of the process that may be requested by the authority or attend the audits of such refunds in case they are given by the authority.
• Execute the collection of data and additional information required from REPSE suppliers for their subsequent audit and follow up of compliance with those observations that give rise to.
• Collect and review, according with the policy of the travel expenses reports, follow up with the employees about their travel expenses prepayment reports and AMEX expenses reports in order to pay opportunely and correctly the AMEX credit cards
• Design and implementation of policies, procedures, and administrative and accounting controls of the company.
• Direct, monitor and review the monthly preparation of financial information, according to seals according to the calendar of Emerson, in the Oracle system.
• Supervision of management of the Treasury and accounts payable and payroll with the shared services areas
• Develop, implement and maintain the company's financial information system.
• Meet and prepare the information requested by the external auditors
