Definity, a leading technology company based in Mexico, is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to work on a mission-critical project with a top automotive company in Austin, Texas. The candidate will lead end-to-end projects, deliver high-quality code, and mentor other engineers while ensuring strong communication and collaboration across teams.

A minimum of 3 years in backend development and a Bachelor’s degree are required, along with expertise in Go. This position offers relocation and TN Visa sponsorship.

Formación

• 3+ years of professional experience in backend or server-side development.
• Minimum 1 year of recent hands-on experience with Go.
• Proven track record delivering large-scale projects in Go, Java, C++, Rust, or similar languages.
• Very strong understanding of backend fundamentals including SQL databases, networking, and security.
• Excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives from concept to production.
• Advanced English.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver high-quality, maintainable code that addresses real-world manufacturing challenges.
• Lead end-to-end projects from requirements gathering and architectural design through implementation, testing, and production deployment.
• Mentor engineers and uphold global standards of excellence in software craftsmanship.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain.
• Interact directly with stakeholders to gather and define requirements, scope, and implementation.
