Confiz Limited seeks a Software Engineer with strong backend experience to build scalable, resilient RESTful services using Go or Java in a Mexico-based role.

You will collaborate with local and partner teams, participate in agile planning, and develop code for RESTful services, event-driven systems, and cloud infrastructure while following secure coding practices.

Formación

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5–7 years of professional experience developing RESTful services and event-driven applications.
• Strong foundation in software engineering practices, data modeling, OOAD, design patterns, and algorithms.
• Experience with Go Lang, Java, or other OO languages.
• Experience with AWS services such as ElastiCache Redis, DynamoDB, Lambda, or similar.
• Familiarity with Linux, Docker, and open-source development.
• Familiarity with Kafka and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like New Relic and Splunk, and with CI/CD pipelines.
• Good communication skills and passion for new technologies and excellence.

CONSULTFIZ LATAM, a fully owned subsidiary of Confiz LLC is looking for a Software Engineer with strong backend experience focused on building scalable, stable, and resilient solutions using Go Lang, Java, or other object-oriented programming languages. Experience developing RESTful services, event-driven applications, and modern cloud-based solutions is required. This role is for a Fortune 500 client.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with local and partner teams to design and deliver end-to-end features.
• Participate and contribute to the agile development and planning process.
• Develop highly maintainable and easy-to-understand code for RESTful services, event-driven systems, databases, and cloud infrastructure following secure coding practices.
• Apply software engineering standards, concepts, and principles to solve practical business needs.
• Design interactions between multiple modules and understand relevant business metrics.
• Ensure code quality through complete and automated unit, functional, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Identify performance issues and optimize software solutions and infrastructure.
• Instrument code appropriately and create custom metrics, alerts, and dashboards.
• Ensure adherence to engineering best practices across the entire solution.
• Collaborate with other software engineers on system design, engineering best practices, and code reviews.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5–7 years of professional experience developing RESTful services and event-driven applications.
• Strong foundation in software engineering practices, data modeling, object-oriented analysis and design, design patterns, and algorithms.
• Experience using Go Lang, Java, or other object-oriented programming languages.
• Experience with AWS services such as ElastiCache Redis, DynamoDB, Lambda, or comparable services on similar cloud-hosted platforms.
• Familiarity with Linux, Docker, and open-source software development.
• Familiarity with Kafka and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as New Relic and Splunk.
• Familiarity with test automation and CI/CD pipelines.
• Good verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical information to nontechnical audiences.
• Passion for new technologies, operational excellence, and delivering strong customer impact.
