Svitla Systems, Inc. is seeking a Remote Recruitment Researcher to enhance product development and integrate extensive AWS services. Ideal candidates will have over 5 years of experience in NodeJS and demonstrate an ability to work independently while collaborating in virtual team settings.

Formación

Recruitment Researcher at Svitla Systems, Inc.

Our team has always been fully remote. We use MS Teams as the chat and virtual meeting platform. Each engineer uses their preferred IDE. Any tools to help you work faster and better are encouraged. Tickets and the Kanban board are used to organize the work in Jira. We use a CI/CD approach and release in small increments as changes are ready. We have a short daily standup and then engineers work together as necessary.

The current back end is primarily Java Spring and the front end is Vue.js (without websockets). We are undertaking a shift to more (but not exclusive) API-first serverless approach with reactive front end. We are undertaking this cautiously as we believe that serverless is awesome for many things, but not everything.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience with NodeJS
• Experience with Java will be a huge plus, since the customer is looking for a software engineer with expertise in several languages. Here we can consider Java developers( 5+ years of experience) who are ready to learn NodeJS
• Experience with AWS: AWS API Gateway / AWS Cognito / Lambda
• Good experience with Elastic Search
• Experience with serveless databases and back end
• Ability to work independently and without supervision
• Quick learner

Nice to have:

• Experience with integration Microsoft products

Responsibilities:

• Re-building existing product using API spec already prepared by current engineering team
• Extensive work with AWS API Gateway / AWS Cognito / using API-first interface approach
• Working in Node, building the TonicDM API and integrating with other APIs (like Procore, Egnyte, Autodesk Construction Cloud)
• Participating in team meetings and discussions
