Walmart de México y Centroamérica is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join the Global Fintech Mexico team. You will be an individual contributor shaping platform-level architecture and delivering products on hybrid architectures, while mentoring engineers and guiding technical direction.

The role emphasizes translating complex processes into robust software, following SOLID principles, and contributing across the full SDLC with a strong focus on modern C#, .NET, and distributed systems.

Formación

• 5+ years hands-on coding experience with .NET/.NET Core ecosystem.
• Strong knowledge of modern C#, including async/await patterns, LINQ, OOP, and the .NET framework.
• Knowledge about TDD, DDD and BDD.
• Knowledge of distributed systems and event sourcing patterns.

Responsabilidades

• Translate complex business processes into concrete technical implementations
• Follow and act upon the established deployment pipeline
• Read and interpret design diagrams, and effectively replicate that knowledge to junior engineers
• Review pull requests to ensure adherence to software development best practices
• Write code aligned with SOLID principles, applying appropriate design patterns for each solution
• Design and develop tests across the full software development lifecycle — from unit tests to end-to-end (E2E) tests
• Analyze legacy codebases and lead their transformation into modern, robust solutions
