BD is seeking a Senior Project Manager for its Mexico (Tijuana) site to lead strategic manufacturing optimization projects and insourcing initiatives. You will oversee cross-functional teams across engineering, quality, finance, and operations to deliver results that meet scope and timelines.

Apply PMI, Agile, and Lean Six Sigma methodologies, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with ISO, GMP, and QMS standards. The role requires willingness to travel and holds a valid US visa.

Formación

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in project management.
• Proficiency with MS Project, Smartsheet, or Primavera for planning and tracking.
• Knowledge of PMI, Agile, and Lean Six Sigma for process improvement and execution.
• Ability to interpret operational and financial KPIs and strong financial acumen.
• Familiarity with Medical Device regulatory standards.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Eligible to travel; valid US visa and passport.

Responsabilidades

• Lead strategic projects to optimize the manufacturing network and insourcing from suppliers.
• Support M&A due diligence and integration activities.
• Manage cross-functional teams across technical, commercial, and production functions.
• Develop and maintain standardized processes and playbooks for due diligence, M&A, and transfers.
• Initiate and manage capital requests for M&A and capacity expansion.
• Provide capital planning insights and align with financial forecasts.
• Collaborate with plant managers, ISC leadership, Engineering, R&D, Quality and Finance to execute plans.
• Ensure compliance with ISO, GMP, QMS in Mexico, esp. Tijuana.
• Deliver project updates to leadership aligning with strategic goals.
• Define program resources, roles, and performance metrics.
• Apply advanced project management methodologies (scope, WBS, risk, integrated planning).
• Provide technical guidance and drive continuous improvement; manage budgets and resources.
• Execute projects to deliver on time and within budget; adapt scope as needed.

Job Description

Role Activities:

• Lead multiple strategic projects to support manufacturing network optimization and product insourcing from external suppliers.
• Support M&A due diligence and the implementation of integration activities.
• Manage cross-functional teams, including direct and indirect reports across technical, commercial, and production functions.
• Develop and maintain standardized processes and playbooks for due diligence, M&A, and manufacturing transfers.
• Initiate and manage capital requests (CB-2) for M&A, capacity expansion, and network Optimization and Insourcing Projects.
• Provide capital planning insights, monitor expenditures, and ensure alignment with financial forecasts.
• Collaborate with plant managers, ISC leadership, Engineering, R&D, quality and Finance to develop and execute project plans.
• Ensure compliance with regional manufacturing requirements, particularly in Tijuana and Mexico.
• Deliver project updates to business and functional leadership, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
• Define and secure program resources, establish team roles and responsibilities, and evaluate performance.
• Apply advanced project management methodologies, including scope definition, WBS, risk management, and integrated business planning.
• Provide technical guidance and drive continuous improvement across teams and processes.
• Manage budgets and financial resources for assigned projects.
• Execute projects Successfully to committed Timeline and Budget
• Ability to react to changes in Project scope and restrategize Project and resources to meet Project commitments (Timeline and Budget)
• Ensure compliance with Regulatory and Manufacturing standards, ISO, GMP, QMS

Requirements

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, bachelor's degree in Administration, or similar
• 5+ years of experience in project management
• Highly results-oriented with a proven ability to meet objectives and deliver measurable outcomes
• Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, or Primavera for planning and tracking activities
• Solid knowledge of methodologies such as PMI, Agile, and Lean Six Sigma for process improvement and project execution
• Ability to interpret and analyze operational and financial KPIs to support decision-making, strong knowledge in financial acumen is a must
• Familiarity with standards and regulatory requirements within the Medical Device industry
• Advance English
• Valid US Visa and passport
• Availability to travel
