Johnson & Johnson MedTech in Ciudad Juárez, MX, seeks a Staff Equipment Engineer to lead automation projects, troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, vision systems, and robots, and support manufacturing operations. You will implement machine and process improvements, validate equipment, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s in Engineering or Science, with 6–8 years in automated manufacturing and strong cross-functional collaboration skills.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Science, Mechanical or Electrical preferred.
• Strong experience diagnosing PLC/HMI/vision/robotics issues in manufacturing.
• Experience programming across architectures and levels (low/high).
• Experience with equipment software control in manufacturing.

Responsabilidades

• Execute automation capital projects from design to validation.
• Characterize, qualify, and validate new automation equipment.
• Design, install, and upgrade hardware/software for automation.
• Troubleshoot new equipment and monitor process data for improvements.
• Write procedures, IQ/OQ/PQ docs and support safety requirements.
