Johnson & Johnson in Ciudad Juárez seeks an Equipment Engineer to lead automation projects and support equipment across manufacturing lines. You will troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs and vision systems, and collaborate on the deployment of advanced automation technologies in a regulated environment.
The role requires a bachelor’s in engineering or science and 5+ years in automated manufacturing; bilingual Spanish/English is highly valued.
Formación
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science; mechanical or electrical preferred.
- 5+ years in automated manufacturing systems implementation and support.
- Strong PLC/robotics and equipment software troubleshooting experience.
- Bilingual (Spanish & English).
Responsabilidades
- Executes automation-related capital projects from design through construction and validation.
- Performs characterization, qualification and equipment validation for new systems.
- Evaluates and implements new automation technologies in manufacturing operations.
- Troubleshoots and tests new equipment.
- Monitors data to identify improvements and issues.
- Maintains and administers equipment control systems for daily operations.
- Writes and reviews documentation (procedures, plans, reports).
- Ensures safe working conditions and plant safety compliance.
- Acts as project team member and manufacturing support for interconnected systems.
