Job summary

Jobgether, on behalf of a partner company, is seeking a Staff AI Engineer based in Mexico. You will lead design, development, and deployment of AI initiatives, building production-grade AI agents and data systems, and shaping the AI platform.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading complex AI initiatives as a hands-on contributor.
• Experience designing, building, and deploying production-grade LLM applications or AI agents.
• Strong ability to influence architecture and engineering standards across teams.
• Proven experience building AI evaluation frameworks with automated tests, traces, and monitoring.
• Solid backend skills with Python, Django, PostgreSQL, Redis, and REST/GraphQL APIs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and delivery of major AI initiatives (AI assistants, data systems, generative features).
• Contribute to production AI systems from architecture through deployment.
• Improve AI quality, reliability, and performance with measurable improvements.
• Own projects from planning to cross-functional delivery and optimization.
• Define architectural decisions for AI platforms and shared infrastructure.
• Establish scalable AI quality frameworks and production monitoring.
• Design reliable AI agents and tool integrations balancing deterministic code and LLMs.
