Job summary

Jobgether seeks a Data Platform Engineer (Mid-level) based in Mexico to evolve a data and ML platform into a scalable, self-service environment. You’ll extend CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code modules, and reusable tooling that makes data services easier to launch, manage, and maintain.

Collaborate across data, backend, and infrastructure teams to deliver reliable systems for a global platform. You will lead improvements, contribute to governance, and work in an AI-enabled culture that

Qualifications

• Deployment ownership end-to-end with runbooks.
• 2+ years of professional software/data/platform experience.
• Degree in CS, Engineering, or related field.
• Proficient in Python and SQL for engineering tasks.
• Experience with CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code practices.
• Ability to navigate and improve unfamiliar codebases.
• Docker and AWS familiarity; SageMaker not required.
• Cross-functional collaboration across data, backend, and infra.

Responsibilities

• Improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.
• Extend and maintain infrastructure modules using IaC.
• Apply data governance standards for new data services.
• Build reusable platform tooling and templates.
• Create modules to simplify pipeline creation.
• Develop practical runbooks and documentation.
• Own data access workflows and permissions processes.
• Own platform tooling roadmap and direction.
• Collaborate across engineering disciplines to improve reliability.
• Incorporate AI-assisted development with careful validation.
