Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Software Engineer – AI Tooling Infrastructure for a partner company based in Mexico. The role focuses on building, operating, and scaling backend services powering AI-driven developer tools, including MCP integrations and AI agents.

You will own production systems, ensure reliability, security, and observability, and collaborate across global teams in a remote-first environment. Ideal candidates excel in API design, auth systems, and distributed systems, with experience in

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years building, deploying, and operating production backend services.
• Strong programming in TypeScript or Go, with knowledge of the other language.
• Experience designing and maintaining APIs, including versioning and rate limiting.
• Deep understanding of OAuth/OIDC/JWT and API authorization in production.
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL and relational databases.
• Experience with CI/CD, Docker, containers, and IaC.

Responsibilities

• Build, deploy, and scale production backend services for AI tooling.
• Own service architecture and deployment processes for reliability and scalability.
• Define and monitor SLOs, error budgets, and incident response with SRE teams.
• Manage on-call rotations, incidents, and runbooks for production systems.
• Design authentication systems for AI agents and machine clients.
