Sr Quotation engineer

Job summary

GPV Mexico seeks a proactive quotation analyst to review customer requirements, prepare quotes, and coordinate with the Sales and Account Managers to win new business. The role includes monitoring quotes, ensuring on-time submissions, and supporting cost-reduction initiatives.

The candidate should have 3–5 years of experience in electronics and contract manufacturing, plus strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills, and excellent interpersonal communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Management or related field.
• At least 3–5 years’ experience in electronics & CM field or related.
• Excel proficiency and other Microsoft tools (Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review customer requirements and feedback for any query.
• Prepare quotes for new customers and re-quotations for existing ones.
• Support quotes with and collaborate on value proposition with Sales Team, especially for new customers.
• Monitor quotation results weekly (hit rate) for existing and new customers.
• Ensure on-time quote submissions based on customer requirement dates.
• Review inquiry & quotation status monthly.
• Coordinate with sourcing to implement cost-reduction programs (quarterly or semi-annually).
• Ensure prices and terms on customer POs align with contracts or agreements.
• Assist onboarding of new customers or new programs for existing ones.
• Work closely with Account Managers and Sales Team; interact with customers and suppliers.

Job description

Reviewing customer requirement and feedback to customer for any query.

Preparing quote for new customer and follow up on the re-quotations of existing ones.

Support quotes with and work value proposition with Sales Team, specially for new customers.

Monitoring the result on quotation for both existing and new customer on the weekly basis. (Hit rate)

Monitoring the on time quote submission basing on customer’s requirement date.

Reviewing inquiry & quotation status by monthly.

Coordinating with sourcing to implement the quarterly, or semi-annually cost reduction program.

Securing the prices and other terms on customer PO’s are according to contract or other agreement.

Securing the orders are received from new customer as agreed for the on boarding.

Clearing the questions regarding warranty and service issues.

Always strictly complied with Company’s management systems and regulations.

Daily maintenance of CRM system.

Other related requests from MD for business priorities.

Support On Boarding of New Customers or New Programs of existing customers

Work closely and in cooperation with Account Managers and Sales Team.

Interact with Customers and Suppliers, and as well work in cooperation with other areas such as

Sourcing, Purchasing, Engineering, NPI, Finance and any other related to the Quote Area.

A pprove price calculation, ECO cost, Material price changes, Quotations.

Bachelor’s degree or above in Management or related field.

At least 3-5 years’ experience in electronics & CM field or related

Excel proficiency and other Microsoft like word, power point
