Job summary

Copeland in Ramos Arizpe, Mexico is hiring a Quality Engineer to develop and implement quality systems for new programs. You will drive APQP/PPAP, FMEA, control plans, and measurement systems to meet customer requirements.

You will collaborate with manufacturing, engineering and quality teams to identify root causes and implement corrective actions; monitor KPIs, manage MRB, and support external audits and continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing quality systems for new programs.
• Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA processes.
• Ability to perform root-cause analysis and drive corrective actions.
• Proficiency with statistical analysis tools (e.g., Minitab) and Excel for data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain APQP/PPAP, FMEA and control plans.
• Develop measurement systems to meet customer requirements.
• Support manufacturing, engineering, and quality to identify root causes.
• Manage non-conforming materials (MRB) and related actions.
• Perform process audits and analyses.
• Track KPIs such as CPs, PPMS, FPY/FTT, and scrap cost.

Responsibilities:

Developing and implement quality systems/processes related to new programs and projects.

Follow up of corrective action reports, including customer complaints, calibration system

maintenance, advanced product quality planning (APQP), including PPAP, FMEA and control plan

creation, SPC and MSA, inspection and test. Facilitate Continual improvement efforts.

Development of measurement system to meet customer requirements and

facilitating continuous improvements activities.

Support manufacturing, engineering, and quality in identification of root cause

defect analysis and corrective actions implementation.

Maintain Quality Process Control and PFMEA updated.

Work together with relevant teams and departments to improve products

Provide technical support for all inspection processes

Process audits and analysis
