Job summary

LEGO is seeking a Sr. Production Manager for our Ciénega de Flores, Mexico facility. You will lead the moulding operations, drive safety, quality, and continuous improvement, and partner with global teams to optimize manufacturing performance.

You will develop leaders, manage KPIs and budgets, and ensure sustainable capacity while fostering a learning culture across the organization.

  • Drive performance through KPIs, budget planning, and structured reporting.
  • Collaborate with global and local teams to share best practices and manufacturing excellence.
  • Lead Quality, Safety and Continuous Improvement programs across operations.

As Sr. Production Manager in Ciénega de Flores, Mexico, you'll lead a large manufacturing organization responsible for delivering safe, reliable, and high-quality production. This role sits at the heart of the LEGO Group's Operations team, where people development, operational excellence, and continuous improvement come together every day.

Core Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee daily moulding operations, driving the achievement of production goals while ensuring compliance of quality and safety standards.
  • Develop and execute mid- to long-term production strategic plans to support business growth, optimize operational performance, and ensure sustainable manufacturing capacity.
  • Strengthen organizational capability by developing leaders and teams through coaching, performance feedback, succession planning, and continuous learning initiatives.
  • Drive performance management using operational KPIs, resource and budget planning and oversight, and structured reporting.
  • Close partnership with global and local teams to share best practices and strengthen manufacturing excellence.
  • Lead Quality, Safety and Continuous Improvement programs, fostering a culture of compliance, operational excellence, and long-term sustainability across manufacturing operations.
Do you have what it takes?
  • Experience leading manufacturing operations in a production environment, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality execution of manufacturing processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to make data-driven decisions by leveraging operational insights, key performance indicators, and business priorities.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, develop, and motivate teams while cultivating accountability, engagement, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Effective communication skills with experience working across functions and international networks.
Nice to Have:
  • Experience in plastic injection moulding or automated production technologies.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing - Continuous Improvement and Project Management.

Note: This position is based at our LEGO NL manufacturing factory located in Cienega de Flores. This is not a remote position.
