A leading high-tech IT company in Mexico is seeking a Sr. Performance Analyst to join their elite performance engineering team. In this full-time position, you will analyze and benchmark performance across the IBM FlashSystem product family, collaborating with teams worldwide to ensure high performance benchmarks are met. Ideal candidates will have over 5 years of experience in performance analysis, storage benchmarking tools, and block storage domain knowledge.

We are searching for a Performance Analysis Engineer to architect the future of efficiency, diving deep into complex infrastructure to analyze latency, throughput, and resource utilization at petabyte scale.

Role & Responsibilities

As a Performance Analyst on the IBM FlashSystem Storage team, you will be responsible for performance testing, benchmarking, and analysis across the IBM FlashSystem product family and features—including various network protocols, data replication, and new hardware. You’ll collaborate with development teams worldwide to ensure that IBM FlashSystem achieves its high performance benchmarks.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 5+ years of performance test and analysis experience, including leadership of teams and projects with global stakeholders
• Experience with storage performance benchmarking tools like vdbench, IO Meter, etc.
• Analysis of performance data to identify trends and assist issue resolution
• Defining pass criteria for the performance of hardware and software features, and defining test coverage to ensure that the pass criteria are met
• Proven block storage domain knowledge, with good understanding of features like high availability, data reduction technologies and storage multi‑pathing solutions
• Experience working with multiple network protocols including Fibre‑channel and Ethernet

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

• Ability to crisply communicate with stakeholders (written/verbal)
