Collins Aerospace is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Electrical Engineer to support manufacturing operations with a strong focus on electrical systems, testing, and continuous improvement. You will troubleshoot, optimize processes and collaborate with global teams to ensure on-time production of aerospace products.

The role requires a university degree with 5+ years of experience (or 3+ with advanced degree), strong English skills, and experience with Windows-based testing software and PC

The Senior Manufacturing Electrical Engineer is responsible for providing technical support and engineering solutions to manufacturing operations, focusing on electrical systems, production equipment, testing processes, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role applies engineering knowledge to troubleshoot complex issues, optimize manufacturing processes, improve equipment performance, and ensure the successful production of aerospace products while collaborating with cross-functional and global teams.

What You Will Do:

• Analyzes equipment and conducts experimental tests toestablishoperating data.
• Performs engineering duties including manufacturing planning and the installation, operation, and maintenance of electrical apparatus to ensure that projects are completed on-time and as per the defined goals.
• Determinesmaterial and equipment needs and orders supplies to ensure sufficient resources for project completion.
• Develops or performs operational, maintenance, or testing procedures for electronic products, components, equipment, or systems to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of engineering processes.
• Manage activities for the manufacture, construction, installation, maintenance, operation, or modification of electronic equipment, products, or systems to ensure smooth operations.
• Prepares,reviewsormaintainsmaintenance schedules, design documentation, or operational reports and charts to ensure that progress and performance can be tracked.
• Resolves day-to-day technical problems on the production lines to minimize disruption.
• Troubleshoots electrical device problems to ensure that issues are resolved efficiently.
• Designs, fabricates,modifies, and evaluates electronic apparatus, components, or circuitry for use in other equipment and devices.
• Researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks. Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.
• Produces products according to specifications, using the most cost effective and efficient means.
• Analyzes and evaluates new or improved electronic components. Includes power generation, transmission and distribution, rotating machinery, illumination, wire communicationsystemsand servomechanisms. Includes circuit theory, computer design and development, instrumentation, radio communications, semiconductor devices, solid state devices, and television systems.
• Works autonomously with limited supervision.
• Influences others within the work area through explanation of facts,policiesand practices.
• Communicate effectively in both English and Spanish with corporate leaders through in-person meetings, presentations, reports, and written correspondence.
• May berequiredto travel occasionally to the United States to support business needs.
• This position is for the second shift, from 3:10 PM to 11:10 PM . Candidates must be available to work during this schedule.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experienceoran Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
• Proficient Conversational and written Englishrequired.
• Experience in software management, installation of Windows applications for electrical testing programs and PC hardware (port cards, video cards, etc.).

Qualifications We Preferred:

• Advancedproficiencyin Microsoft Excel (e.g., Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, data analysis, and reporting).
• Experience with programming or scripting languages (e.g., VBA, Python, SQL, C#, or similar)demonstratinglogical problem-solving and process automation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Previousexperience supporting electronic manufacturing processes, including assembly, testing, troubleshooting, or production support activities.
