FIS is seeking a senior program and project manager to lead planning, execution, and governance of enterprise initiatives in our Mexico operations. You will drive milestones, manage costs, risks, and quality, and coordinate cross‑functional teams.

You will supervise junior staff, align programs with organizational objectives, and communicate policies while influencing stakeholders to adopt best practices. Strong strategic thinking and problem solving are essential.

Job description

Designs and implements key strategies for specific project plans aligned with organizational objectives to ensure seamless execution, ensuring consistent achievement of critical milestones and goals. Leads the initiation, planning, and execution of programs and projects internal to the organization to ensure effective management across all aspects of programs and projects, including plans, costs, risks, and quality. Supervises junior or mid-level colleagues, setting objectives and goals to achieve operational results to ensure direct reports understand and follow policies and procedures, influencing others towards effective system design and solutions. Plans project-specific objectives and assigns tasks within the work area, in order achieve operational targets and deliver operational results that also meet client project expectations and requirements. Make adjustments or recommends enhancements in systems and processes, drawing from prior experiences to analyze and resolve issues in order to address general problems that require broader understanding to improve job area effectiveness. Communicates internally and externally, explaining organization policies, practices, and procedures within the job area in order to justify and gain cooperation, working to align others within and outside the organization. Collaborates with parties within and outside the job function, addressing general problems that require understanding of other job areas in order to communicate effectively, explaining policies and procedures while influencing cooperation on best practices and solutions. Designs programs to measure project performance to implement iterative improvements that enhance project delivery and contribute to overall organizational growth. Analyzes organization's project performance for iterative improvements in order to implement continuous enhancements that elevate project delivery and contribute to organizational growth. Manages a large team or multiple smaller teams which would typically consist of both experienced technical/professional colleagues and managers. Focuses on tactical and operational plans with short-to mid-term focus (e. G. 1-2 years) or may manage a project or program of significant size and impact to the company. Responsible for making moderate to significant improvements of processes, systems or products to enhance performance of sun-function. Problems faced may be difficult to moderately-complex. Influences others outside of own job area regarding policies, practices or procedures. Typically has expert-level knowledge and skills within a specific technical or professional discipline with broad understanding of other areas within the job function. May have budget or P&L accountability for area of responsibility or manage elements of the budget.
