Confie is seeking an experienced Senior Bilingual Content Writer & Editor to grow brand awareness, organic visibility, engagement, and lead generation through useful, compelling, and search-optimized content. This role writes across websites, blogs, emails, and collateral in English and Spanish, with about one-third editing and reviewing content in both languages.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Bilingual Content Writer & Editor to help grow brand awareness, organic visibility, engagement, and lead generation through useful, compelling, and search-optimized content. This role will create content across websites, blogs, infographics, emails, video scripts, digital and print collateral, and other marketing channels. The role primarily focuses on content creation, with approximately one-third dedicated to editing and reviewing content in both English and Spanish. This individual will write, edit, translate, and localize content in both languages, ensuring accuracy, consistency, cultural relevance, and alignment with our brand voice. We are looking for a strong storyteller and editor who understands how to create content for people while optimizing it for traditional search, AI-powered search experiences, and large language models (LLMs). The ideal candidate has a proven track record of producing and editing content that drives engagement and supports business goals. This position requires a high level of creativity and editorial judgment, along with the ability to apply SEO best practices and use data-driven insights and AI-assisted writing, research, editing, and optimization tools to develop high-quality content efficiently. The successful candidate will know how to leverage AI to improve research, ideation, drafting, and optimization while applying strong human judgment to ensure accuracy, originality, brand consistency, and overall content quality, editorial judgment, and the ability to use data-driven insights to write and edit compelling material.

Requirements

Bachelor's in Marketing or equivalent. Full professional fluency in both English and Spanish, with exceptional writing, editing, grammar, and proofreading skills in both languages. +3 years of professional writing, editing, and content marketing. Ability to use AI efficiently while maintaining independent editorial judgment, accuracy, originality, and brand standards. Familiarity with AEO, generative search, and content optimization for AI/LLM discovery is strongly preferred.

Job Responsibilities

Research, write, edit, and optimize content from start to finish in both English and Spanish. Have a brand publisher mindset: create the content our audience is looking for and then optimize the path from top to bottom of the funnel (buyer journey). Translate, adapt, and localize content from English to Spanish and Spanish to English while maintaining the intended meaning, brand voice, tone, and cultural relevance. Use AI-Assisted writing, research, editing, and content optimization tools as an integral part of the content development workflow to improve efficiency, scale content production, and support quality. Determine messaging and content strategies across customer-facing marketing and advertising channels, including websites, emails, digital ads, and social media. Ability to write and edit long- and short-form content across marketing and advertising channels. Write and optimize content using SEO, AEO, and AI/LLM content best practices to improve visibility across traditional search engines and emerging AI-powered discovery experiences. Incorporate keyword research, search intent, content structure, internal linking, FAQs, entity and topic coverage, and other optimization recommendations naturally without sacrificing readability or brand voice. Deep understanding of how to conduct interviews, research projects, audits, and analysis to complete a writing assignment. Ability to follow an editorial calendar, collaborating with other members of the content production team to ensure timely delivery and editing of materials. Develop content for multiple platforms, such as press releases, announcements, websites, email marketing, product descriptions, videos, and blogs. Use search engine optimization (SEO) strategies in writing to maximize the online visibility of a website in search results. Work with the internal and external SEO teams to develop long-form content that supports SEO goals. Ensure consistency in voice, messaging, grammar, style, and approach across all written materials in English and Spanish. Manage multiple assignments and priorities simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining high editorial standards.
