Job summary

Genpact Ltd. in Mexico is seeking a Junior Accounts Payable Analyst to support timely and accurate processing of invoices, including reviewing supporting documents and ensuring records are complete.

You will verify supplier details and PO references, follow up on outstanding items, and escalate exceptions as needed. The role requires strong organizational skills, proficiency in Excel, ERP familiarity, and English verification as needed.

Qualifications

• Practical knowledge of invoice processing and documentation review.
• Experience in AP administration or similar roles is valued.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; able to follow procedures.
• Functional Excel skills and ability to learn ERP systems.
• English proficiency may be required by requisition.

Responsibilities

• Receive, review and record invoices and supporting documents using ERP procedures.
• Verify supplier information and purchase order/receiving references; document missing information.
• Track invoice status, pending items and actions required by other areas.
• Identify duplicated, incomplete, or inconsistent documents and escalate exceptions.
• Prepare simple operational reports and backup information for period close.
• Address routine invoice questions and route complex payment cases to senior analyst.
• Adhere to internal controls and segregation of duties.
