Gates Corporation seeks an App. Dev. Analyst IT – Oracle EBS (Finance) to provide techno-functional expertise across Oracle R12 Finance modules (AP, AR, GL, FA, SLA, PA) and related processes such as O2C, P2P, and Q2O.

You will support production, drive process improvements, and deliver custom developments with documentation. The role requires hands-on configuration, multiple project involvement, and collaboration with Finance, IT, and planning teams.

Formación

App. Dev. Analyst IT – Oracle EBS (Finance) is a technical expert in finance modules such as Account Receivables (AR), Account Payables (AP), General Ledger (GL), FA (Fixed Assets), Sub Ledger Accounting (SLA) and PA (Projects)specifically on Oracle E-Business Suite of applications with strong technical skills, implementation, and process related experience inOracle EBS Modules.

You will be working on multiple projects in Oracle R12 version with focus in the domain of EBS Finance modules. This position also works on cross-functional modules in the environment of Quote to Order (Q2O) or Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) cycles with possible integration of third-party systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Production support (Technical and Functional) of Oracle R12 Finance and other related modules.
• Provides technical support to resolve Finance related issues. Submits and follow up on service requests to Oracle.
• Supports the development activities for process improvement initiatives. Provides programming of custom code and migrates the solutions to production. Participates in testing/validation activities.
• Creates Technical and Functional documentations related to any development activities. Examples include BR100 and technical design documents for custom objects.
• Provide analysis, problem resolution and improvement plan for finance applications.
• Conduct gap-analysis and work with business team and functional architects to enhance AP, AR, GL, PA, SLA, and FA modules.
• Support the implementation of solutions through a formal process including requirements gathering and definition, gap analysis, design, development, configuration, project planning, testing and deployment.
• Provides techno-functional expertise in all Oracle Finance related applications.
• Manage and support L1 & L2 production along with code migration of fixes and enhancements.
• Manages the techno-functional documentation related to Oracle Finance Applications. Ensures that the documentation is up to date.

Requirements and Preferred Skills

• 5-7 years of experience
• Graduate in Business, Finance or Computer Science. Master’s degree is desirable.
• At least 6 years of direct experience with Oracle EBS R12 Financial module viz., (AP, AR, GL, FA, PA and iProcurement)
• Candidate should have at least 2 full life cycle implementation experience with hands-on configuration, implementation and support using Oracle EBS in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong technical expertise in Oracle EBS modules including AP, AR, GL, FA, with cross-functional knowledge of OM and Inventory. Solid understanding of Oracle Applications including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, EBTax, Purchasing, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Inventory, and Order Management.
• Experience with inbound interfaces such as AP Invoice, AR Invoice, and GL Interface. Knowledge of Oracle APEX and Java is an advantage. Expertise in Oracle Workflow and/or OAF, with strong verbal, written, documentation, and training skills.
• Extensive experience with Oracle Forms, Reports, Workflow, SQL*Loader, Oracle APIs, PL/SQL, database concepts, Unix Shell Scripting, and Oracle Database upgrades. Strong report development skills using Oracle Report Builder, Discoverer, and XML Publisher.
• Proven ability to collaborate with Planning, Commercial, Finance, and IT teams. Strong understanding of Oracle schema, integration points, data conversions, and technology processes. Advanced development experience with PL/SQL, Triggers, Procedures, APIs, Interfaces, and RICE components.
• Experience with Oracle implementation methodologies, business process engineering, and ERP deployment projects. Strong knowledge of Oracle R12 modules including Inventory, BOM, WIP, Purchasing, and Order Management. Ability to create functional and technical specifications for Finance module interfaces, with deep understanding of finance data flows and table structures.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Oracle Finance module implementations. Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, organizational, and prioritization skills. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and operate effectively in matrix organizations.
• Expertise in SQL and PL/SQL performance tuning. Exposure to project management methodologies. Experience integrating third-party applications with Oracle Finance modules is preferred. Manufacturing and Planning module experience is a plus.
