Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Senior Accounts Receivable Analyst (Cash Application) to join the finance team in Mexico City. This role focuses on accurate application of customer payments, reconciliations, and resolving discrepancies to maintain AR integrity.

You will apply payments in ERP systems, analyze deposits, perform reconciliations, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive process improvements in a dynamic, international environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Strong AR experience, preferably in cash application.
• Solid accounting knowledge and understanding of financial transactions.
• Experience in reconciliations and account analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with an ERP system (SAP, Oracle, JDE, Dynamics, or similar).
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities.

Responsibilities

About the Role

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Accounts Receivable Analyst (Cash Application) to join our finance team. This role will be responsible for ensuring the accurate application of customer payments, account reconciliations, and resolution of discrepancies while maintaining the integrity of Accounts Receivable records.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply customer payments accurately and timely within the ERP system.
• Analyze deposits and ensure proper accounting treatment of transactions.
• Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Research and resolve payment-related issues, unapplied cash, and account variances.
• Review and validate payment documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Support account cleanup initiatives and maintain the integrity of AR balances.
• Identify root causes of issues and recommend process improvements.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to communicate findings and provide solutions.
