Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, Inc. (SEL) is seeking a Project Engineer II to provide life cycle support and assist in proposals for protection systems.

You will offer technical support to clients as the first point of contact for maintenance of systems in operation and help with commissioning of integrated systems. You will develop integrated system tests and projects for new protection technologies, and work with the SPS team to define optimal proposals.

Formación

• Electrical engineering degree or related field.
• 5+ years experience in power systems, protection and control.
• Experience with energy systems, protection relays, and communications.
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally (at least 25%).
• Proven ability to interpret client requirements and lead reviews.

Responsabilidades

• Provide technical support to clients as first point of contact for maintenance requests.
• Assist in commissioning of integrated protection systems.
• Develop tests for integrated systems and new protection technologies.
• Collaborate with SPS team to define optimal solutions per client specs.
• Lead project review meetings and warranty support.
