Job summary

Selinc is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to apply power system expertise and lead protection, automation, design, studies, commissioning, and project management within the SEL portfolio. You will lead customer training, develop proposals, mentor staff, and ensure high quality, safety and on-time delivery with travel up to 25%.

Qualifications include a BS in Electrical Engineering and 5+ years in power systems, with knowledge of protection and control, Ethernet/IEC protocols, and experience

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or relevant discipline.
• 5+ years' experience with electric power systems and focus area practices.
• Knowledge of power system protection and control, and automation applications.
• Willing to travel domestically and internationally at least 25%.
• Strong writing and speaking skills; teamwork ability.
• Background check and drug test satisfactory.

Responsibilities

• Apply knowledge of power system focus areas to complex assignments.
• Lead training and assist customers with design, configuration, validation, and operation.
• Manage scope, schedule and budget to high quality and safety.
• Assist in proposals for SEL equipment and services.
• Mentor staff; may supervise.
• Model SEL values and manufacturing principles.
