Jobtailor in Mexico is seeking a Procurement/Category Management professional to drive sourcing strategies, manage spend analytics, and develop dashboards. You will lead cross-functional teams, build supplier relationships, and monitor productivity across Packaging categories.

The role requires 3–5 years of related experience, strong analytics, and the ability to travel periodically. It offers a full-time on-site position with competitive market compensation and growth opportunities.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, Continuous Improvement, Project Management, or Category Management.
• Experience managing multiple cross-functional projects simultaneously.
• Experience in procurement.
• Ability to analyze and visualize large amounts of data.
• Supply market analysis experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Support spend category teams in developing and executing sourcing strategies
• Manage spend and market analytics, including make-or-buy analyses
• Generate insights from bid events
• Prepare supplier negotiation materials
• Support project execution and supplier relationship management
• Drive controls and compliance
• Coordinate and track productivity projects across all Packaging categories
• Monitor project milestones, risks, and dependencies and provide stakeholder updates
• Identify, develop, and implement productivity opportunities
• Coordinate procurement productivity workshops, including Business Margin Revolution, Supplier Summits, and innovation sessions
• Prepare workshop materials, facilitate project tracking, and follow up on action items
• Develop and maintain productivity dashboards and reports
• Prepare and analyze Packaging category KPIs, performance metrics, and savings tracking
• Generate insights for business decision-making and category strategy
• Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives focused on procurement processes
• Simplify, standardize, and optimize procurement workflows
• Drive best practices and process governance across procurement activities
• Support Packaging sustainability objectives and track sustainability targets
• Serve as the main Packaging point of contact for the Design to Consumer Value program
• Coordinate DTCV data collection and analysis
• Prepare category insights and presentations for DTCV workshops
• Facilitate workshop preparation, document outcomes, and track approved initiatives
• Partner with Procurement Category Managers, R&D, Supply Chain, Finance, Operations, and external suppliers
• Support strategic procurement programs and special projects
