Nextpower is seeking a Structural Engineer I to join our Project Engineering Team in Mexico City, supporting key accounts across the United States. The role manages day-to-day structural activities for utility-scale PV projects from development through construction.

Responsibilities include wind and seismic analyses, foundation sizing, and preparation of documentation for quotes and packages. Collaboration with teams in the US, India, and other regions is essential.

Formación

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in structural or civil engineering.
• 2 years of structural engineering experience, preferably EPC solar.
• Experience with wind, seismic, foundation load analyses and construction documents.

Responsabilidades

• Produce structural design calculations for solar tracker racking systems.
• Review site conditions and perform preliminary structural calculations.
• Prepare and sign/seal structural calculation packages when required.
• Provide construction support and respond to RFIs and submittals.
• Collaborate with cross-regional engineering teams to maintain standards.
