is seeking a Structural Engineer I in Mexico City to manage day‑to‑day structural engineering for utility‑scale PV projects. You will coordinate with US, India, and global offices, handling wind, seismic, and foundation analyses and producing supporting documentation. Responsibilities include design calculations for tracker racking, construction support, and development of engineering templates.

Formación

Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering or equivalent.
3+ years of structural engineering experience, preferably in EPC solar.
Experience in wind, seismic, and foundation load analysis; design of steel/concrete structures.

Responsabilidades

Produce structural design calculations for solar tracker racking systems.
Review site conditions and perform preliminary structural calculations to support estimates.
Conduct structural analyses for wind, seismic and foundation loads; sign and seal documents when required.
Provide construction support and respond to RFIs; review submittals.
Develop knowledge of Nextpower products to inform design decisions.
Collaborate with cross-regional teams to improve design standards and tools.
Manage engineering schedules and review deliverables from external consultants.
Support process improvements and team development within Project Engineering.
