Nextpower Inc. is seeking a Structural Engineer to join the Project Engineering Team in Mexico City, supporting US accounts.

You will perform structural calculations for solar tracker racking, review site conditions, and contribute to cost estimates across development and construction phases. The role requires a Master’s in Structural/Civil Engineering with 5+ years of experience, proficiency in AutoCAD, RISA-3D, STAAD.Pro, and wind/seismic load analysis.

Formación

• Master's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural engineering, preferably in EPC solar.
• Proficiency in structural analysis and design for wind, seismic, foundation loads.
• Strong knowledge of IBC, ASCE, ASTM, AISC, ACI standards; proficient with design documentation.

Responsabilidades

• Produce structural design calculations for solar tracker racking systems.
• Review site conditions and perform preliminary structural calculations for project development.
• Conduct wind, seismic, and foundation load analyses and prepare calculation packages.
