CentroMotion in Ciudad Juárez, Mexico seeks a Software Group Lead to set objectives, plan projects with JIRA, estimate timelines, monitor progress and communicate with clients. The role enforces safety and environmental policies and develops ES&H activities.

A Bachelor’s in Electronic Engineering or related field and 3 years in a similar role are required. Ideal candidates have strong embedded programming knowledge, software architecture skills, and fluent English.

Formación

• Knowledge of embedded programming.
• Knowledge of software development tools.
• Knowledge of software architecture and microcontrollers.
• Use of failure report analysis.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organization and planning skills.
• Fluent English (95%).

Responsabilidades

• Establish software team objectives.
• Detailed project planning using JIRA.
• Time estimation for new potential projects.
• Progress monitoring, establishing recovery alternatives as required.
• Communication with external and internal clients to clarify questions.
• Has authority to stop unsafe lines/machines/activities and address non-conforming product or process.
• Develop activities related to environment, health and safety.
