Job summary

Confiz Limited, based in Mexico, seeks an experienced Software Engineer in Test (SDET) to design, develop, and maintain scalable QA solutions with Java, Spring Boot, and automation for Supply Chain/WMS projects. This 100% remote role requires 5+ years of hands-on experience, strong API/Microservices testing, and on-call production support.

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on Java and Spring Boot.
• Proven experience with Test Automation (Selenium preferred; Cypress or Playwright accepted).
• Experience with unit, integration, regression, and performance testing.
• Experience with REST APIs, microservices, SQL, and API testing tools such as Postman.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or GitHub Actions).
• Previous on-call / production support experience is mandatory.
• Knowledge of Kafka or similar messaging technologies.
• Familiarity with AWS, Kubernetes and cloud-based infrastructure.
• Experience with test strategy, test planning, and quality assurance practices.
• Understanding of security testing and application vulnerabilities.
• Willingness to perform both automated and manual testing.
