Zoolatech is seeking a passionate Java SDET Engineer to join our tech team, working with a top-tier stack (Java/Spring/Selenium, Spark, Kafka, Airflow, Hadoop, AWS, GCP BigQuery). You will contribute to designing and maintaining automated tests for supply chain services and warehouse management.

You will build scalable test frameworks, perform API, performance, and security testing, and ensure high-quality software delivery. Remote-friendly in Mexico with collaboration across time zones.

Competenze

• 4+ years of professional software delivery experience.
• Design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks.
• CI/CD pipelines and integration of tests with Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub Actions.
• Performance testing with JMeter or Gatling to ensure scalability.
• REST API validation using Postman or similar tools.
• Security testing practices to identify vulnerabilities.
• Define test strategies and plans to ensure coverage.
• Collaborate with developers to improve testability and quality.

A Java SDET Engineer is a key part of the Client’s Technology team that applies scientific, mathematical, and social principles to design, build, and maintain technology products, devices, systems, and solutions.

You are the perfect candidate if you have experience in data transformation and modeling.

Responsibilities

• Develop software systems to support Supply Chain services and warehouse management.
• Engage in the design, architecture, and implementation of software systems to solve complex problems, including defining, scoping, and estimating tasks and work artifacts.
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Perform both automation and manual testing, ensuring high-quality software delivery.
• Provide on-call support for the systems owned by the team.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of professional, hands‑on experience in delivering quality software.
• Test Automation Development – Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright. Java/Selenium technologies are preferable.
• Continuous Integration & Deployment (CI/CD) – Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Gitlab ,GitHub Actions.
• Performance & Load Testing – Conduct performance testing using tools like JMeter or Gatling to ensure system scalability.
• API Testing – Validate RESTful APIs using Postman .
• Security & Compliance Testing – Implement security testing practices to identify vulnerabilities in applications.
• Test Strategy & Planning – Define test strategies, create test plans, and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Collaboration with Developers – Work closely with developers to improve code quality and ensure testability.
• Provide on-call support for the systems owned by the team.

Nice to have

• Experience in Supply Chain is a big plus.
• Java/Selenium technologies are preferable.
