Job summary

North American Production Sharing, Inc. seeks a Software Developer (Semiconductor Industry) to join the Global CAD team in Tijuana, MX. The role centers on Python or C++ development and CAD tool creation to support design flows for RTL integration and floorplanning.

Collaborate with Physical Design and Timing/PDN teams on features for chip floorplanning, datapath routing, and AI-assisted design regression. Strong CAD tooling experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering or related field required.
• Masters or PhD in CS/Compute Engineering preferred.
• Experience with Git/GitLab/GitHub and software development platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain internal software for top-level chip floorplanning and datapath routing.
• Develop new features for internal CAD tools and webapp GUI components.
• Augment design flow infrastructure to automate regression and test case extraction.
• Adhere to software development best practices, testing, linting, and documentation.
• Participate in project specs and software architecture discussions.
• Interfacing with Global CAD developers and VLSI domain experts.
