QUALCOMM SEMICONDUCTORES Y SISTEMAS AVANZADOS DE BAJA CALIFORNIA is seeking a software engineer to join its Global CAD team. The role focuses on developing tools and workflows for top-level chip floorplanning and datapath routing to improve timing and area.

You will work with Snapdragon Physical Design and CAD teams, applying best coding practices, and contributing to AI-enabled design automation efforts. Preferred candidates hold a Master’s or PhD in CS or related fields, and have 1–4 years of

• Requires programming in Python or C++ and CAD development experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with software development platforms such as Git, GitLab or GitHub.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain internal software for top-level chip floorplanning and datapath routing.
• Add features to existing internal tools, including web GUI development and APIs.
• Enhance design flow infrastructure software to automate regression testing and extract test cases.
• Follow CI/CD practices, write tests, and document code.
