WSP Chile y Argentina is seeking a Software Asset Management Specialist to join the regional SAM team, overseeing licensing decisions and software optimization across LATAM and international regions. You will collaborate with IT, Procurement, Finance and Engineering to ensure compliant licensing, accurate records, renewals, and cost efficiency in a high‑volume, multi‑publisher environment.

• Experience with node-locked, concurrent/floating, named-user and cloud licenses.
• Experience managing a broad software portfolio across multiple publishers.
• Experience with entitlements, renewals, license utilization, compliance and/or software audits.
• Ability to manage high volumes, prioritize time-sensitive requirements and adapt to different publishers.
• Advanced English and Spanish communication skills.

Software Asset Management Specialist | Regional LAC Role

Join WSP’s global Software Asset Management team and contribute to the management of a large and complex software portfolio across Latin America and other international regions.

About The Role

We are looking for a Software Asset Management Specialist with hands‑on experience in software licensing and the ability to operate effectively in a high‑volume, multivendor environment.

This role is part of Innovation & Technology – Infrastructure Technology & Operations and reports to the SAM Hub Leader. You will collaborate with IT, Procurement, Finance, Engineering teams, software publishers and regional/global stakeholders to support accurate licensing decisions, timely service delivery, compliance and software optimization.

WSP manages a diverse software environment involving hundreds of publishers, different licensing models and frequently changing operational priorities. Success in this position requires technical licensing knowledge, strong attention to detail and the ability to move quickly between different requests and publisher requirements.

As Software Asset Management Specialist, You Will

• Manage software licensing requests across the full lifecycle, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
• Interpret licensing terms, metrics and entitlements across multiple publishers and licensing models.
• Maintain accurate software asset and entitlement records, including purchasing and licensing information.
• Coordinate renewals, assignments, reallocations and software optimization activities.

What We Are Looking For

• Hands‑on experience in Software Asset Management, software licensing, or IT Asset Management with significant SAM responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of software licensing models, including node‑locked, concurrent/floating, named‑user and cloud/SaaS licenses.
• Experience managing a broad software portfolio across multiple publishers and licensing conditions.
• Practical experience with entitlements, renewals, license utilization, compliance, optimization and/or software audits.
• Ability to manage high volumes, prioritize time‑sensitive requirements and adapt quickly between different publishers and requests.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and accuracy when interpreting licensing information.
• Advanced English and Spanish, with the ability to collaborate effectively with regional and global stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in engineering, professional services or another environment with specialized technical software.
• Experience working in a global or regional organization.
• Exposure to SAM/ITAM platforms such as Snow, Flexera, ServiceNow SAM or equivalent solutions.
• Knowledge of ITIL‑aligned processes and service‑level management.
• Relevant ITIL, IAITAM, ServiceNow or similar certification is a plus.
• Degree in Information Technology, Business, Engineering or a related discipline.
